Dimensions are a powerful reporting tool in NAV. There are many elements to setting up and using these dimensions including global dimensions, shortcut dimensions, default dimensions, dimension priorities, dimension combinations, Dimension Set IDs, Analysis by Dimensions and Analysis Views. I will discuss why and how you might use dimensions and how to setup and use the various dimension elements.
