A Look Back at 2022 and Forward to 2023

As another year comes to a close, we pause to take a look back at 2022 and forward into 2023.

Innovia has seen a very busy 2022, and we anticipate that trend continuing into next year and beyond. For the most part, our customers continue to show a strong business environment. We have seen many customers upgrade to Business Central (BC) SaaS, and several customers add new functionality to their existing systems. In 2022 we acquired a NAV/BC practice in Canada and have seen excellent results from this acquisition. Contrary to what is seen in the news about the economy, Innovia and most of our customers have had a strong 2022, and 2023 looks to be even better.

Microsoft has continued to expand its M365 offering. Microsoft Teams usage by our customer base continues to grow at an excellent rate. While traditional Microsoft products remain a strong offering, new tools, such as Microsoft Viva, are showing great promise. Innovia has seen many customers adopt Microsoft Azure for all their server needs and Power BI for enhanced reporting this year. In 2023, Innovia will continue to help our customers get the most from the ever-expanding Microsoft M365 product line offering.

The growth of BC SaaS in the market continues at an exponential rate. With that growth comes an equally significant increase in the number of ISV and third-party add-ons. Innovia continues to provide best-of-class support for NAV/BC regardless of the version and support for the most popular of our ISVs. Innovia will continue to focus exclusively on NAV/BC in 2023. It remains our belief that to be the best at something requires focus.

2023 is going to be an excellent year. We are excited about our customer conference, which will be held May 21-22 in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Innovia Customer Conference provides targeted Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Power Platform information by Innovia staff and select ISVs. It is an excellent opportunity to talk with the Innovia team and other Innovia customers and end users. Immediately following our conference, on May 22-25, at the same location, Dynamics User Group will have its DynamicsCon Live conference. DynamicsCon Live is the premier NAV/BC user conference and is open to all users. These events provide the best opportunity for the training and networking your team needs to succeed. We hope to see all of our customers at both events.

Alan’s background includes 20 years in the IT world as a programmer, IT Manager, and CIO.  He also has a number of years of experience running multi-site manufacturing operations. He has experience in management roles in retail, manufacturing, warehouse, and IT.
