Is my business eligible for Government Cloud?

Microsoft offers Azure Government exclusively to three distinct groups of customers.

US Government Entities, such as:

  • Federal Agency
  • State or Local Entity
  • Tribal Entity
  • Regional or Interstate Government
  • Federally Funded R&D Centers

A Government Partner that Provides the Following:

  • Provides Services or Solutions to US Government Customers Through Direct or Indirect Contracts
  • Serves US Government Customers through GSA or other Contracts

A Commercial Private Entity with Data that is Subject to Regulations Under Any of the Following:

  • International Traffic in Arms
  • Controlled Unclassified Information
  • Department of Defense Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI)
  • Department of Energy
  • Criminal Justice Information
  • Department of Defense Impact Level Data
  • Other data that requires Azure Government

You may also be able to purchase Azure Government through your US subsidiary if your organization is an international commercial entity. You may need regulated data to qualify.
