Innovia Newsletter, May, 2017

Hi there,

orange-barrels.jpg

Welcome to summer!  We live in Wisconsin, and it has been an interesting spring – got warm early, then we had snow at our Customer Conference on April 27th, and now rain and more rain.  It has started to get warmer and the orange barrels are out so that means road construction and summer in Wisconsin!

As always, please check out our website for blog posts and webinars – we strive to bring relevant content to you, and are always interested in both your feedback and most importantly suggestions on what you want to hear in the future. You absolutely can drive the content!  I personally enjoyed Bob Beaird’s blog with the excellent reminders for the technology-age we live in.  Tom Doran's blog on NAV 2017 is very timely – we have so many customers interested in the current version, and this blog helps highlight a few of the investments that Microsoft has made.  However, as Tom said, how each customer adopts any of these is the key, and it can be very unique by customer. But that is the strength of NAV, it allows each of you to tailor it to enhance the competitive advantages of your company.  Our Customer Engagement team has many years of experience and are here to help you – just let them know!

Our family is planning a trip to the Carolina’s travelling through the Smokey Mountains – we’re really looking forward to it!  Hopefully you are planning something fun over the summer – feel free to drop me a line with your plans (our family is always looking for ideas for next year 😊).

I'm writing this as the world is trying to recover from the WannaCry ransomware attack that hit over 100 countries and hundreds of thousands of computers. It's made me think that perhaps Ben Franklin's saying that the only thing certain in this world is death and taxes, needs to be amended to "death, taxes, and being hacked". Read More
